We stayed at Bodnolwyn Wen for our quiet family new year getaway and it was perfect. The location was ideal, with beautiful walks to the reservoir and being close to the beach. The cabin, Lucy's Nest, was absolutely idyllic, with a cozy fireplace, comfortable bed, and powerful shower. The peaceful grounds and nearby sheep made it a truly relaxing stay. We can't wait to come back.
Do recommend this hotel.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at a cosy cabin in the peaceful countryside. The hosts were incredibly helpful, showing me around the cabin and making sure I felt safe and secure. The location was perfect for enjoying walks and spotting various bird species. Despite being in my 50s, I found the cabin comfortable and suitable for my needs. Although there wasn't a shop nearby, the hosts thoughtfully provided extras like tea, coffee, and milk on arrival. The beautiful surroundings and central location made it easy to explore the island. I highly recommend Bodnolwyn Wen for a memorable and peaceful stay.

The value for money at Bodnolwyn Wen in Llanbabo was excellent! The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed, including a warm shower and plenty of space for the kids to play. The location was perfect for exploring Anglesey and the staff were friendly and helpful, even setting up the log fire for us on short notice.
Regarding breakfast options, it would have been nice to have tea, coffee, and milk provided upon arrival. It's the little extras that can make a big difference, especially when there isn't a shop nearby.

the location was peaceful and the cabin had a lot of character. We enjoyed the woodburning stove in the evenings and the cleanliness was excellent. the owners, Diana and Robert, were extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed taking walks around the nearby reservoir with our dog, who had a great time playing with the owners' dogs. it was a beautiful spot and we didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back!
Nothing I didn't like to be fair. 😊.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at a cosy log cabin for New Year's Eve. The location was lovely and quiet, perfect for a peaceful getaway with the family. The host was incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel right at home. The beds were comfortable, and the log cabin had everything we could possibly need. We even appreciated the flexibility to pack up at our own pace on the last day. It was truly a wonderful experience, and we couldn't have asked for more.

I had a wonderful stay at Bodnolwyn Wen Villa and enjoyed every moment of it. The cozy cabin provided a comfortable and spotless living space for me and my family. The loft bedroom with the ladder added a sense of adventure for my son, and our own bedroom was incredibly comfortable with ample storage. The bathroom was small but immaculate, and the hot shower was a delightful treat. The well-equipped kitchen made cooking a breeze, and we loved the ambiance of the wood/coal burner in the evenings. The peaceful location offered great walks and our dog had a blast woofing at the sheep. The central location made it easy to explore other parts of the island and beautiful beaches were just a short drive away. The hosts were lovely and helpful without being intrusive, making our stay even more enjoyable.
While our cabin was overall wonderful, there were a few minor drawbacks. The French doors on one side were broken, and although it was acknowledged by the host, it wasn't entirely secure.

The surrounding area was peaceful and offered ample space for my kids to run around and play. The on-site family was friendly, and my children had a great time playing with the other kids. Smooth check-in process with clear instructions. Clean and well-maintained property with a great heating system. Kitchen was fully equipped, even had a dog bowl. Beautiful views and access to public footpaths. Friendly and welcoming owners.
Some issues with the property, such as windows not closing fully and a stiff door handle. Ladders to climb to bed were fun but potentially dangerous.

The cabin had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The wood-burning fire was a nice touch, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. the location was excellent, offering a feeling of safety and security for both ourselves and our pet. It was also conveniently close to various attractions and activities in the area.
We had several negative experiences during our stay. There seemed to be a lack of responsibility from some dog owners, as their dogs freely roamed around the cabins, even entering ours to eat our dog's food.
